The Challenge: This growing family came to us with a home that no longer fit their needs. They lacked a proper primary bedroom suite and were struggling with an inefficient first-floor layout that created daily friction in their kitchen and entry sequences.

The Solution: We designed a comprehensive two-story addition that transforms how this family lives in their home. The new primary suite on the second floor provides the private retreat they were missing, complete with a spa-like bathroom and generous walk-in closet. On the first floor, we reimagined the entire experience with an expanded kitchen, dedicated mudroom, laundry facilities, and powder room.
The design respects the home's traditional character while providing modern functionality. Through careful study of floor plans, elevations, and building sections, we ensured the addition feels intentional and cohesive rather than tacked on.
